Leadership Westmoreland
Operating September - May each year, the tuition-based Leadership Westmoreland program fosters the development and growth of our community leaders and enhances creative leadership skills for future Westmoreland County Leaders.
During monthly full-day sessions, participants will learn how the county operates, immerse themselves in community projects, working in teams to study challenging issues and develop real-world solutions and affect change.
Program participants represent every sector, including business, health care, social service, government, labor, education, professional services, industry, and individuals. To qualify, applicants must live or work within Westmoreland County, and demonstrate ability to fully commit to the program. The Chamber’s Leadership Westmoreland Committee vets and accepts applicants on a rolling basis.

Leadership Westmoreland Youth Academy
Leadership Westmoreland Youth Academy is a five-day leadership development program designed to introduce participants to leadership concepts and provide interaction with local business, government and community leaders.
Participants will learn and grow by developing leadership skills and gaining knowledge through various methods. While some time is spent in a classroom setting, most of the week is spent observing local business, government and community leaders in action.
