Our Mission
Leadership Westmoreland Youth Academy’s mission is to deliver a youth leadership program, empowering youth to learn, grow and lead through a learning experience designed to impart knowledge, create community awareness, promote team building and develop leadership.
The Youth Leadership Program is a week-long summer initiative designed for high school students seeking to develop their leadership potential and deepen their understanding of Westmoreland County.
Participants engage in immersive experiences, visiting key sites across the region and connecting with local leaders, speakers, and influential community stakeholders.
The next Youth Leadership cohort begins in June of 2026.
